Ramsey Park Fishing Experience

Ramsey Park’s location offers ample opportunities for fishing by being situated along the Redwood River & Ramsey Creek. Handicap-accessible fishing ramps are also available within the park.

Redwood River Fishing Piers

There are two fishing piers right along the Redwood River, just off the Dirlam trail. Other hotspots have been identified along the creek & river but do not have fishing piers. Fish you will most commonly find in Ramsey Creek & the Redwood River include Rainbow & Brown Trout, Walleye, Bass, & Catfish.

Rainbow Trout Season

Seasonally the DNR will stock the upper Ramsey Creek with approximately 400 Rainbow & Brown Trout. Ramsey Creek is a designated trout stream.
