Scenic Overlook
Zeb Gray Shelter
The Zeb Gray Shelter features a scenic overlook of the Redwood River and the park’s hogback peninsula. This area also offers access to the waterfall which bears the city’s name. The Falls is spanned by a pedestrian bridge providing a striking view of the Redwood River gorge. Near the Zeb Gray Shelter is also Ramsey Park’s newest playground addition which features all-inclusive & accessible equipment.
Redwood Falls Bridge/Overlook
The second and lesser known waterfall location at Ramsey Park is a dam across the Redwood River. This waterfall is accessed most easily by hiking from the Trailhead Overlook behind the ELCA building which is right off of Hwy 71. You can also walk there on McPhail Trail coming from the Zeb Gray Shelter. A long pedestrian bridge spans the entire length of the dam, so you can walk right over the waterfalls.
