Ramsey Park/Cansayapi (meaning where they paint the trees red) is one of southern Minnesota’s finest assets. It is home to many memories for the residents of Redwood Falls & is also a popular destination for many visitors. The park is free to visit and offers experiences for all ages to enjoy during every season. Termed as the "Little Yellowstone of Minnesota", the park is now the largest municipal park in the state.

The 256 acres of natural beauty, miles of hiking trails, zoo, Ramsey Falls, Redwood River, picnic areas, scenic overlooks, accessible & inclusive playground equipment, historic landmarks, DNR trout stream, and campground are only part of what makes this park an attractive destination spot for so many people.

Stay and Play at Ramsey Park Campground

Ramsey Park’s campground is the perfect place to plan your next getaway. The campground is located adjacent to the Redwood Falls Golf Club and along the Redwood River.  Our camping season runs from May to mid-October.
